PROTECTION DOGS FOR SALE
IVY IRK are proud to offer specialist protection dogs for sale for clients in the U.K. All of our dogs are trained to the highest standard to help ensure they can adapt to any security scenario. We feed our protection and working dogs on a nutrient-enriched raw food diet and take the appropriate health precautions when breeding and raising a litter to maximise the chances of success.
We aim to sell a variety of dog breeds, such as Belgian Shepherds, German Shepherds/Alsatians, Cane Corso, and much more. Incorporating a mix of different protection dog breeds allows us to uniquely demonstrate our ability to create a healthy and dynamic temperament within each individual dog.

WHAT IS A PROTECTION DOG?
A protection dog is a dog dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of people and/or property.
Though many dogs are naturally protective, some breeds are more protective than others such as German Shepherd, Belgian Malinois, Cane Corso, etc.
WHAT IS THE MOST PROTECTIVE DOG BREED?
There’s no definite answer to this question. Often it depends on how you train the dog. Some people prefer to have their dog trained solely for the purpose of protection whereas others prefer to have their dog trained for basic protection and for other purposes. However, the general consensus is that German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, and Dobermanns are the most protective.
CAN YOU TRAIN ANY DOG TO PROTECT?
All dogs have a natural instinct to protect. However it is important to remember that some breeds have a larger instinct than others. Theoretically, you can train any dog to protect but training must start from an early age if you want the best results.
